He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Hughes and Bessie Hood Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Hamilton Hughes; his children, Alyson Hughes, Cory Hughes and Josh Hughes; his sister Mary Ann Blackstock (Steve); and his grandchild Kyper.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of God of Prophecy (915 W Jefferson St, Kosciusko, MS 39090). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
