It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Joann Toten (Kosciusko, Mississippi), who passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Almeda Shang Brownlee and Ethel Layfatte Bryant; her husband James Paul Toten; and her brothers, Donnie Bryant, Charles Bryant and Bobby Gauthier.

She is survived by: her children, Nicky Toten, Angela Dees and Battina Rice; her grandchildren, Daemon Dees, Thomas Dees, Nadiya Rice, Taylor Beckham, Abby Becerra and Aiden Becerra; and her great grandchildren, Grayson, Kynlee, Serenity, Everleigh and Stormi.
