It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monita McCool of Kosciusko, Mississippi, who passed away on July 20, 2022, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Casey Ray Ellington; her parents, Herman K. Atwood (Bush) and Annette Dean Atwood; her grandparents, Lee Jones Dean, Pattie McGivney Dean, David Chase and Laura Dora England Atwood; and her nephew Haden Kodi Atwood.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Ray McCool; her stepsons, Brett Parks McCool and Ganes Hunter McCool (Brittany Leigh Sims); her brother Herman Kade Atwood (Robyn Leslie Atwood); her niece Hannah Surrat Johnson (Timothy Dane Johnson Jr.); her nephew Arthur Lyndell Surrat; her great-niece Liza Jayne Johnson; and her pet Jewelz Renner McCool. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
