It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Cook (Kosciusko, Mississippi), who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Denley and Lucille Beauchamp Denley; her husband Donald Cook; and her sister Inez Collins. She is survived by: her sons, Anthony Cook (Susan) and Patrick Cook (Allison); her sisters, Dorothy Peavy (Johnny) and Johnnie Newell; her grandchildren, Kyle Liddell (Noelle), Mackenzie Cook (Elizabeth), Reilley Schreck (Austin), Ainsley Cook, Hayden Cook and Cooper Cook; and her great grandchildren, Archer, Thatcher, Thorin, Salem and Rainey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Culpepper Funeral Home (11748 MS-35, Kosciusko, MS 39090). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel (11748 MS-35, Kosciusko, MS 39090). A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at the Providence Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Gideons International or Samaritan's Purse.
