He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rosamond and Linnie Pender Rosamond (Sue Strawbridge Rosamond); and his siblings, Roy, Delmas, Raymond, Arvis and Dorothy Thornton.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen O'Beirne; his children, David Rosamond, Wanda Carey, Melissa Avant, Susan Rosamond and Elizabeth Webber (Beth); his brother Addison; and his grandchildren, Sable Ekstrom, Allison Grantham, Caitlin Proctor, Connor Neyman, Christian Avant and Keeley Joy Carey. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
