He was predeceased by: his parents, Irtes B. Leathers and Pearline D. Leathers; and his brother Jimmy D. Leathers. He is survived by: his wife Laura J. Leathers; his children, Robert D. Leathers (Meredith), Eric L. Leathers (Heather), Emily B. Crews (Steven) and Paul A. Leathers (Emily); his grandchildren, Eli Leathers, Clayton Leathers, Abby Hutton (Morgan), Waylon Leathers and Forrest Leathers; and his siblings, Bobby Leathers (Ruby), Barbara Enzor (Dan), Donna Burt (Harold), Pat Williams (Dale) and Danny Leathers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the French Camp Academy (One Fine Place; French Camp, MS 39745-9703), designated for the VO-TECH Program.
