He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Charles, Bobbye Ray and Huey Bishop; and his uncle Kenny Bishop. He is survived by: his parents, Lisa Bishop Ray and Chuck Ray; his siblings, Allison Johnson (Trey) of Kosciusko and Chase Ray (Amanda) of Starkville; his grandmother Estelle Crane; his nieces and nephews, Charley Jane Ray, Camden Ray, Tatum Johnson and Brynn Johnson (Kaitlin Young); and also Kenzie. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Home of Grace in Vancleave, MS in memory of Hunter Ray.
