She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Malcom and Margaret Ann Hodge Black; her husband Oscar Joe Smith; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Pounders Smith. She is survived by: her children, Larry Smith of Kosciusko, Zane J. Smith (Sharon Bain) of Kempner, TX and Dr. Rebecca Smith McDougald (Chuck) of Tupelo; her brother Dr. Wayne Black of Conroe, TX; her sister-in-law Carol Black of West; her grandchildren, Trevor Byron Smith of Austin, Erin Smith Wadel of Austin, Helen Margaret McDougald of Tupelo, Zane Smith McDougald of Tupelo and Jeffery Smith of Olive Branch; and her great grandchildren, Lee Jackson Smith of Olive Branch and Lily Carol Smith of Olive Branch. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
