It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Tavares Pee (Kosciusko, Mississippi), who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Newsom and Bertha Newsom; her sisters, Louise, Jo and Bessie; her son Danny Tavares; her brother Billy Newsom; her former husband Daniel Tavares; and her grandchildren, Marlana Holland and Luke Cain.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda George, Betty Cain Alderman, Debbie Peatross (Ed) and Sue Stuart (Don); and her daughter-in-law Cindy Simmons Tavares. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.
