She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leon Russell and Annie Elizabeth Barnett Russell; her son Michael Charles Tavares; and her siblings, Larry Russell, James Russell and Ilene Tavares.
She is survived by: her husband Sammie Charles Tavares of Kosciusko; her daughters, Jennifer Bruce (Terry) of Carmack and Candance Ables (Tim) of Kosciusko; and her grandchildren, Alex Frank, Dylan Kyzer (Courtney), Mayson Kyzer (Logan Phillips) and Hailyn Kyzer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
