It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys Laverne McMillan (Kosciusko, Mississippi), who passed away on April 4, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie W. Odom and Bessie Suddeth Odom; her husband Reverend Samuel L. McMillan; and her siblings, Ollie V. Peavey, Pauline McAdams, Delancie Chunn, Lee Allen, Alma Peavey, Betty Odom, Walter Odom, Herbert Odom and Marshall Odom.

She is survived by: her children, Samuel W. McMillan (Rebecca) of Terry, MS and Linda D. Schexnayder (Bruce) of Raymond, MS; her sister-in-law Flossie Odom of Ashville, AL.; and her grandchildren, Brian Wade (Keri), Gregory B. McMillan, Reverend Benji Wade (Kristen), Reverend Nik Schexnayder (Summer) and Robin Tapia (Kris).
