He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Hayden and Elizabeth Dean Cagle; his wife Carolyn Dorman Cagle; and his grandmother Mooney. He is survived by: his sons, James Clyde Cagle, Jr. of Jackson and Greg Cagle of Belmont; his sister Corinne "Sissy" Black of Jackson; and his grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Cagle and Gregory Hayden Cagle.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Marvin Chapel Cemetery Fund.
