He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Rayford and Burdette Stoker Patterson; and his wife Bettie Reynolds Patterson. He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Rials (Donnie), Debra Hilson and Sharon Burchfield (Randy); his siblings, Jean Lancaster (Edward), Peggy Jackson (Hugh) and Danny Patterson (Bonnie); and his grandchildren, Christopher Skeen (Vickie), Amy Thompson (Josh), Pamela R. Wilder, Daniel Rials (Jordan), Wendy Thomas and Dr. Charlie Burchfield (Amanda). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
