He was predeceased by: his father Elmer C. Myrtle G. McKnight; and his sister Katie Green. He is survived by: his wife Annie Laura Pilgrim Parkerson; his son David Parkerson (Susan); his brother-in-law Roosevelt Green; and his granddaughter Charlotte McBride.
