He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernice Cook and Iva Merle Summerhill Cook; and his brothers, Johnny V. Cook and Mitchell Ray Cook. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Cook of Decatur, AL, Shane Cook (Dawn) of McCool, MS and Angel Chennault (Jason) of Kosciusko, MS; his grandchildren, Clinton Cook, Abigail Houston, Kimberly McKinney, Cyril Chennault, Holden Chennault, Kristina Blanton, Allison Thomas and Chloe Thomas; his great grandchildren, Harper Houston and Alyvia Herron; his sister Iva Dees (Ricky) of French Camp; his niece Kayla Rumly; and his nephews, Scott Cook and Mitchell Dees.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel Hill Church (323 School St, French Camp, MS 39745).
