It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Gilliam (Kosciusko, Mississippi), who passed away on December 18, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rueben Cordell and Maudine Threadgill Cordell (James Paul Gilliam); her sons, James Paul Gilliam, Jr. and Joseph Sean Gilliam; and her siblings, Imogene Simpson, Ann Wigley, John, Allen, Louie, Neal and Joe Cordell.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Glazier (Gary); her daughter-in-law Laurie Gilliam Bowman; and her siblings, Shirley Shamoun (Charles), Cathy Nokes, Ricky Cordell (Anne) and Bill Cordell (Diane). She is also survived by seven Grandchildren, and seven Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Culpepper Funeral Home (11748 MS-35, Kosciusko, MS 39090). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel (11748 MS-35, Kosciusko, MS 39090).
