It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bennie Frank Aughtman (Kosciusko, Mississippi), born in Opp, Alabama, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Aughtman; his parents, Frank Aughtman and Ruby Aughtman; his siblings, Winfred, Billy Joe and Merle; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Todd, Floyd Sanders (Sonny), Bill Gilliland and Billie Breazeale.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Aughtman and Ben F. Aughtman, Jr. (Deborah); his brother Lavaughn Aughtman (Margie); his grandchildren, Nastassja Power (Josh), Frankie Aughtman, III (Jennifer), Daniel Aughtman, Brandon Aughtman, LaQuae Aughtman and Sarah Duncan (Christian); his family, Johnny Todd, Sue Gilliland, Gerry Sanders and Jimmie Sanders; and his friend Tommie Wasson. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
