She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Sallis McMillan and Annie Bell McMillan (James Lamar); her siblings, Robert Daniel McMillan, Martha Francis McMillan Dunning and David Gordon McMillan; and her granddaughter Susan Michelle Dorsett Roby.
She is survived by: her husband James L Culpepper; and her children, Gloria Derrick of Memphis, TN, Martha Greer (Russell) of Hermanville, MS, Jim Culpepper (Marjorie) of Memphis, TN and Paul Culpepper (Mahala). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
