He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Howard and Ruth Howard; his former wives, Patricia Sisson Howard and Julie Ann Turner Howard; his brothers, Tony Howard, Danny Howard, Lee Howar and Leo Howard; and his brother-in-law Kevin Pope.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Howard of Kosciusko; his sons, Clinton Howard (Sara) of Louisville, Michael Howard of Choctaw County, Mississippi and Jason Howard (Rose) of Louisville; his stepsons, Micheal Pilgrim (Kerry) of Huntsville, Alabama, Timothy Pilgrim (Mary) of Hollywood and Terrence Pilgrim of Kosciusko; his sister Mary Ruth Howard Kelly; and his siblings-in-law, Susie Howard, Sandy Pope, Thomas Pugh (Tena), Ronnie Turner (Mia) and Mark Turner. He is also survived by "Papaw" to his nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Massey Funeral Home (724 N Columbus Ave, Louisville, MS 39339). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Whitehall Church (10595 MS-14, Louisville, MS 39339). A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at the Whitehall Cemetery (10595 MS-14, Louisville, MS 39339).
