With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Bennett of Kokomo, Mississippi, who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy May and Rena May; her husband Dewitt Bennett; and her siblings, Robert May (Elizabeth), Evelyn Harding (Jack), Linda Price (Jim) and Amy Sanderson Sanders (Bob Sanderson).
She is survived by: her children, Danny and Kay; her former spouse Karen Scarborough Bennett; her daughters, Kristi Bennett-Holmes (Eric), Emily Bennett Greemann (Ryan), Danielle Bennett and Beth Bennett Cranford (Joel); her great grandchild Faye Greemann; and her brother Joe T May (Wanda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and lots of grand and great grand fur babies.
In lieu of flowers, Lib requested donations be made to Baptist Friendship House in New Orleans, LA or to the Mississippi Baptist Children's Village.
