He was predeceased by: his parents, Holland Upton and Nell Forrest Bailey. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Forbes Upton of Kokomo, MS; his sons, Joseph W. Upton (Tanya) and Christopher L. Upton (Ginger); and his siblings, Kenneth K. Upton (Angela) and Kathy Badon Upton. He is also survived by nine Grandchildren and eight Great- Grandchildren.
