He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Edward and Vera Waltman Hathorn. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Anna Hathorn of Kokomo; his children, John Sabine of Columbia and Aimee Bass of Lucedale; his stepdaughter Cassandra B. Lougue (Quitman) of Kokomo; his siblings, David B. Hathorn and Sharon N. Hartfield of Columbia; his grandchildren, Brittney N. Holmes of Kokomo, Tiffany Blansett of Columbia and Jimmy Holmes of Kokomo; and his great grandchild Emma "Lulu" Blansett of Kokomo.
