He was predeceased by: his parents, D. L. Blansett Sr. and Bonnie Walters; and his siblings, Glendon Street, Hazel Bullock and Robert Blansett.
He is survived by: his wife Eula Blansett; his sons, Dewey Alan Blansett Sr. (Michelle) and Glen Blansett (Anna); his siblings, Billie Atwood, Charles Holly (Geri) and Ronnie Blansett Sr.; his grandchildren, Alan Blansett (Caitlin), Hunter Blansett, Blake Scott, Logan Blansett, Hannah Blansett, Katy Blansett and Gracy Blansett; and his great grandchild Lincoln Blansett. He is also survived by Nieces and Nephews and family.
