With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louis Nunez III (Kiln, Mississippi), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2024 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Nunez, Jr. and Rosalie Nunez; and his sister Joan Ann Nunez Gaudet. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Nunez; his children, Louis Nunez IV (Alison), Mandie Necaise (Craig) and Mollie Nunez (Jillian); his grandchildren, Taylor Necaise, Trista Necaise, Gracie Nunez, Kadence Ladner, Isabella Ladner, Alona Nunez and Jude Thomas Nunez; and his nieces and nephews, Holly Adams (Mark), Sheri LaCava (Steve), Dana Breaux (Steve), Gina Wilson (Mark), Johnny Appel IV, Tiffany Martin (Kevin), Ashley Appel, Kelly Appel (Matt) and Brandy Appel (Brian). He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and long time friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
