He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lawler and Patricia Amadei Lawler; and his stepson David Ray Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Baggett Lawler; and his sisters, Kathleen Rouse of Nebraska, Patricia Davis of Greenville and Fran Pate (Buddy) of Greenville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
