He is survived by: his parents, Jerome Brister and Linda Fuller Brister; his siblings, Daniel Brister and Samantha Spell (Ashley); his aunts, Janet Brister, Faye Dunaway (James), Rosa Lee Ivey, Bonnie Lambert (Arlie) and Bonnie Fuller; his uncle James Fuller; his fiancée Tina Grimes; and his brother Brandon Delcambre (Katrina).
