With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul J. Stephens of Jayess, Mississippi, born in Monticello, Mississippi, who passed away on January 24, 2022 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Stephens of Washington and Minnie Hall Stephens; his wife Evelyn Louise Stephens; and his siblings, Wayne Stephens and Catherine Buchanan.

He is survived by: his sons, Danny Stephens of Jayess, MS and Nathan Stephens of Jayess, MS; and his brother Buford Stephens (Kay) of Jayess, MS.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
