He was predeceased by: his parents, James Melvin and Agnes King Rutland; his former wife Dianne Rutland; and his brother Glenn Rutland. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Rutland of Jayess, MS; his children, Craig Rutland of Jayess, MS, Pamela Shumaker (Joseph) of Monticello, MS and Jessica Brown (Sidney) of Zwolle, LA; and his brother Jerry Rutland (Joyce) of Jayess, MS.. He is also survived by 7 grand-children and 8 great-grandchildren.
