Cox Sr. and Flora Stanley Cox; his wife Helen Norwood Cox; his sons, Billy, Jimmy and Johnny Cox; his granddaughter Julie Cox; his brother Gordon Cox (Ardyce); his sons, Lonnie Cox (Brenda) and Sammy R. Cox Sr.; and his brothers, Wayne Cox (Betty) and Alfred Cox. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
