She was predeceased by : her parents, Roland Wallace Harrell and Beulah Cordell Stocks Harrell; her husband Robie Joe Burnette; her daughter Kristie Dycus; her son-in-law Randy Dycus; her grandson Waylon Dycus; her son-in-law Larry Reid; and her siblings, Terry Harrell and Magdalene Burnette.

She is survived by : her children, Robie Joe Burnette, Jr. (Sherlyn) of Jayess, Jeffrey Burnette (Teresa) of Jayess, Jerod Burnette of Jayess and Kaye Miletello (Frank) of Jayess; her grandchildren, Alana Anderson (William), Nila Jernigan, Joe Kent Burnette (Darlyn), Roderick Reid, LaSha Gatlin (Robert), Chelsia Odom (Camron), Jeffrey Coy Burnette, Courtney Burnette and Kevin Hudson (Chastin); and her siblings, Wayne Harrell (Ann), Jean Wilkins and Dean Williamson. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Bethel Jesus Name Church (88 New Bethel Rd, Jayess, MS 39641). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
