He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Stephens and Minnie Hall Stephens; and his siblings, Paul Stephens (Evelyn), Wayne Stephens and Cathern Buchanan (Elzy).
He is survived by: his wife Kay Gordon Stephens; his daughters, Roxie Stephens Landry (Chuck) of Jayess, MS and Britta Stephens (Dylan) of Summit, MS.; and his sister-in-law Cris Stephens of Monticello. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jayess Baptist Church (1004 Jayess Rd, Jayess, MS 39641). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Greenland Baptist Church Cemetery (3078 Greenland Rd, Union, MS 39337).
