With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Rutland of Jayess, Mississippi, who passed away on September 11, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Melvin Rutland and Agnes Marie King Rutland; his brothers, Otis Rutland and Glenn Rutland; and his parents-in-law, W. H. "Dub" and Mary Katherine Womack.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Womack Rutland; his sons, Elliot Rutland (Jocelyn) and Allen Rutland (Jenny Smith); and his grandchildren, Caroline, Claire Rutland, Addison, Avery Rutland, Jaxon Barron and Blaire Buckels. He is also survived by his family and friends.
