He was predeceased by: his parents, Toxie Hall Hedgepeth and Zelma Dunn Hedgepeth; his former wife Mary; and his siblings, Jerrell Hedgepeth, Donnie Hedgepeth, Carl Hedgepeth, Dorothy Boyd, Nellie Turner and Ruth Nations.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie Daughdrill; his sister Geneva Nations; his stepdaughters, Nalina McGuffin (Daryl), Angela Beasley (Troy) and Mary Bullock (Roger); and his close friends, Steve and Nora Capper. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Home Monticello (904 W Thomas E Jolly Dr, Monticello, MS 39654). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
