It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Reid of Jayess, Mississippi, born in Fernwood, Mississippi, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Roberts Reid; his daughter Nancy Reid Thornton; his parents, Devitt Lee Reid and Ina Lee Mulford Reid; and his brother Jesse Walter Reid.

He is survived by: his son Kendal Reid (Vivian); his stepson Dalton Rawls; and his brother Ray Reid. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
