He was predeceased by: his parents, Atley Holmes and Maxine Hatfield Holmes. He is survived by: his children, Adam Holmes (Lacey) and Regina Howell (Randy); his grandchildren, Addyson Holmes, Tanner O'Quin (Elizabeth), Nate Holmes, Wyatt Howell, Skylar Gilmore and Saxon Howell; and his brothers, John Ray Holmes (Judy), Ronnie Holmes (Karen), Jerry Lane Holmes (Willie Mae) and Milton Holmes (Shelia). He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Magee's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (174 Darbun Rd, Jayess, MS 39641).
