We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2024, at the age of 66, Henson Childers of Jayess, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henson S. Childers Sr. and Helen M. Roberts; his stepfather Claude Roberts Sr.; his brother Claude Roberts Jr.; and his brother-in-law Fred Willoughby.
He is survived by: his siblings, Randy Roberts (Debbie), Jamie Roberts and Sandy Willoughby; his children, Tonya Jackson (Chris), Heather Mire, Mackenzie Gay, Brandon Travis, Chase Childers (Chelsey) and Lee Pickard (Wendy); his stepdaughter Laci Gay; his grandchildren, Kristin, Dana, Darren, Taylor, Joseph, Samson, Hunter, Madison, Tanner, Lydia and Braiden; his great grandchild Caiden Pittman; and his nephews, Joey Roberts and Julian Simmons (Sylvester "Red" Perkins). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
