He was predeceased by: his parents, James Prentis Boyd and Janie Wallace Boyd; his siblings, James Edward Boyd (Leuna), Paul Boyd (Mary) and Earline Hughes (Johnnie); and his daughter-in-law Sheila Price Boyd.
He is survived by: his children, David M. Boyd (Donna) and Sylvia Ann Boyd (Tommy); his brother Don (Mae Boyd); and his stepgrandchildren, Joseph Simon (Melissa) and Thomas Simon (Brittany). He is also survived by five step great grandchildren; numerous children.
