He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Marvin and Lillie Summers Harvey; and his siblings, Buddy Harvey, Gerald Harvey, Jean Alford and Merle Ainsworth.
He is survived by: his son Duane S. Harvey (Nicole); his sister Betty Sistrunk; and his grandchildren, Scott Harvey, Jacob Harvey, Eric Harvey, Anna Harvey, Bella Ready and Ben Ready. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
