She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer H. Carney and Corean Creel Carney; her husband Henry Ford Reid; and her son Steven Ford Reid. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Garner (Jeffery), Richard Reid (Lisa), Ivan Reid (Machell) and Lisa Beard (Terry); her daughter-in-law Pat Boyd (Ronnie); and her grandchildren, Nelwyn Alexander (Phillip), Stephanie Ritchey (Kevin), Lynette Whittington (Amos), Jeff Garner, Jr., Deanna Garner, Deryn Garner (Melanie), LaBreeska Durkes (Stevie), Wendy Thornton (Champ), Dallas Reid (Libby), Derrick Battle (Laura), Darryl Reid, Ashley McElhaney, Steven Reid, Daniel Reid, Calin Beard (Kelli) and Karis Jones (Will). She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family.
