She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Charles "Happy" and Isabel King Hyde; her husband Carey Ballard; her son Revis Ballard; and her siblings, Billy Hyde, Duell Hyde, Roy Hyde, Charlie Hyde, Luther Hyde, Jerry Hyde, Dorothy Carr and Lula Hedgepeth.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Price (Roger) and Tammy Beard (Keith); her grandchildren, Heather Harvey (Donnie), Heath Sistrunk (Amanda), Tyler Beard (Brandi) and Alex Ballard (David); her great grandchildren, Anne Claire Sistrunk, Drake Barton, Isabel Barton, Halle Claire Harvey, Tucker Harvey, Molly Mae Sistrunk, Price Sistrunk, Aidan McFarland, Bailey Lue Ballard, Rhett Beard and Jak Beard; her sister Judy Smith; and her caregiver Sue Braswell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great friends.
