We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021, at the age of 78, Shirley Hastings of James, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Shelby and Nell Wright Shelby; her daughter Geri Hastings; and her granddaughter Meredith Lee. She is survived by: her husband Billy Hastings; her children, Terri Hastings of Meridian, MS, Jan Lee (Gary) of Alpharetta, Georgia and Julie Alphin (Wesley) of Meridian, MS.; her grandchildren, Beau Alphin of Flowood, MS, Shelby Alphin of Meridian, MS, Marissa Lee of Alpharetta, Matthew Lee of Alpharetta, Georgia of Winston-Salem, Sara Jilcott of Winston-Salem and Joseph Jilcott of Winston-Salem; and her siblings, Christine Townsend of Meridian, MS, Carole DiGiovanni of Atlanta, Georgia, Lawrence Shelby, Betty Guszack, Helen Reed and Peggy Ann Shelby.
