She was predeceased by: her parents, John Womack and Viola Spruill Womack; her brothers, Rex, John Earl and Roland Womack; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Womack.
She is survived by: her husband James David May; her children, Susan Neal, John May (Robbie) and Mark May (Sharon); her grandchildren, Mac May, Krystye Golden (Brandon), Jessica Marquis (Larry Lee), Joseph May, Rachel Roberts (Joe) and Caleb May; her great grandchildren, Tristan May, Morgan May and Ainslee Marquis; and her siblings-in-law, JoAnn Womack, Marie Womack, Gerri Denton and Fred May (Brenda).
Memorials may be given to the music ministry of First Baptist Church or a favorite charity.
