He is survived by: his son Nathan Whitaker of Amory; his siblings, Tommy Whitaker (Judy) of Iuka, Mike Whitaker (Kay) of Amory, Marsha Whitaker of Tupelo and Mary Sloan (Larry) of Amory; his granddaughter Mary Paige Wright; and his close friends, Steve Robertson and Mike Palmer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
