He is survived by: his children, Sherry Koebler (Gower), Jamie Taylor (Jon Mark), Tanya Walls, James Walls, Jr. (Amy) and Jacob Williamson; his grandchildren, Danny Smith, Heather Blankenship, Danielle Henson (Scooter), Chance Robbins (Ashley), James Connor Walls, Westin Lamar Walls, Blake, Cody, Taylor Grace Williamson and Austin Nichols; and his sister Jane Mattox. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
