We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2022, at the age of 69, Joy Dixon Payne of James, Mississippi, born in Benton, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Dixon, Sr. and Eliza Lois Hood Dixon; and her sisters, Nancy White and Ann Dunn. She is survived by: her husband Tony Payne; her daughter Lindsay Rose Stuart (Danny); her grandchildren, Taylor Reece Stuart and Reagan Lane Stuart; and her brother James Dixon, Jr.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to St. Jude.
