It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Vernon Bryant (James, Mississippi), born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who passed away on May 28, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bryant, Jr. and Wilda Louise Strickland Bryant; and his brother Paul Eldridge Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Grace Macon Bryant of Oakvale; his children, Jeremy Vernon Bryant of Toronto, Jacob Paul Bryant (Jennifer) of Hammond, LA, Jessica Bryant Bennett of Ruston, LA and Jennifer Elizabeth Garriga (Christopher) of Ruston; his grandchildren, Bryant Reagan Bennett, Britton Morgan Bennett, Brycen Bradley Bennett, Charley Grace Garriga, Collins Elizabeth Garriga and Hadley Beth Bryant; and his sister Rebecca Bryant Farlow (Donald) of Benton Harbor, MI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church at 321 Ebenezer Rd. Bassfield, MS 39421.
