Herman Denton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Denton of James, Mississippi, who passed away on June 27, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Smith Denton; his parents, Linnie Jenkins Denton and Raymond Benjamin Denton; and his daughter-in-law Kim Griffis Denton. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Raymond B. Denton II (Rhonda J.), Cathy Denton Carpenter (William T. "Bill" Jr.) and William R. "Bob" Denton; his grandsons, William T. "Will" Carpenter III (Katie), Matthew D. Carpenter, Peter C. Carpenter and William R. "Bobby" Denton Jr.; his great grandchildren, William T. "Liam" Carpenter IV and Joseph Jackson "Jack" Carpenter; and his grandsons, Will Carpenter, Matthew Carpenter, Peter Carpenter and Bobby Denton.
