He is survived by: his wife Olinda Metz "Lin" Carruth; his sister Lu Carruth Becker; his children, Jay Carruth (Lisa), Kelly Deardorff (Steve), Jim Carruth (Alisha), Bill Carruth (Leslie), Allen McDaniel (Robin), Michael McDaniel (Sylvia) and Lacy Perry (Clay); and his grandchildren, Jake McDaniel, Robby Holland, Jake Holland (Taylor), Dru McDaniel, William Carruth, Jaymee Carruth, Claiborne Perry, Eli Perry, Charlotte McDaniel, Ruby McDaniel, Maggie McDaniel and Nash Carruth.
