She was predeceased by: her daughter Brenda Owens Franks; her parents, Burl Alexander Knight and Wilma May Bradley Knight; and her siblings, Johnny Knight, Jimmy Knight, Douglas Knight, Jean Bennett, Mary Lawson and Donna Vick.
She is survived by: her husband James Ray Franks of Savannah; her children, James Franks, Jr. (Robin) of Niles, MI, Joshua Franks of Savannah, TN and Wanda Richard (Donald) of Niles, MI; her grandchildren, Joseph Whitman (Terra), Andrew Whitman (Sue-Ellen Vere), Aaron Whitman, Audreanna Perkins (Sean), James Ray Franks III, Brandon Franks, Travis Spalding, Trenton Spalding, Cheyenne Franks, Spencer Franks and Grace Franks; her great grandchildren, Logan, Riley, Alexander, Arionna, Olivia, Lucas, Lillian, Tobias, Elijah, Noah, Kasen and Dean; and her goddaughter Shayla Hall of Benton Harbor, MI.
