He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Ann Collins Ryals. He is survived by: his father Marshall Thomas Ryals; his wife Lakely Ryals of Valentine's Day; his son Trey Ryals (Josie); his grandson Jace Ryals; his sister Stacey Johnson (Pascal); his nieces and nephews, Sienna, Baron, Baylor (Shelby), Katy, Penny, Cody, Noel and April; and his brother-in-law Glenn Smith (Holly).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
